In the pursuit of Parkland Shooting case, it is important to know what young think about the Gun ownership in the U.S.

Gun control rights have been in concern amid the age groups 18 to 29 which are against the possession of guns in America. As per the latest study by a Research Centre, after a Club shooting in Orlando Nightclub, the recent trend suggests a little decrease in the gun control amid gun rights which is hovering a debate in U.S school security. A researcher found that 90% of people above 50 years like to own a gun. The rate of ownership of a gun is lower in younger adults about 28% only. The Whites usually like to own a gun.

Around 40% of Americans assist they own a gun or live in their households with a gun. The rate of killings in highest in the people of developed countries using firearms. The toll had reached around 11000 in the U.S using firearms. Homicides just include Manslaughter or murders using the gun firearms.  This stat does not include the killing of criminals by Police or FBI that count justifiable killing of citizens under certain circumstances.

Although it is not evident how much guns individuals own around the globe US with approximately 270 firearms as guns are the leader.

Among the European countries, Switzerland and Finland are the countries with the most guns per person since these both countries have compulsory military service over the age of 18 years. But Cyprus, Austria, and Yemen also have compulsory military services.

According to Investigations, there had been around 90 mass shootings in the U.S since 1982.

Till 2012 a mass shooting was defined as when an attacker had killed four or more than that figure as victims in an indiscriminative rampage- and after 2013 the figures count attacks with three or more victims. The figure in shootings does not include attacks in crimes such as armed robbery and gang violence.

There were near twice as many suicides involving firearms in 2015 as there were murders involving guns, and the rate has been increasing in recent years. The suicides have been committed by the gun owners mostly.

Military-style assault rifle weapons have been responsible for some of the main mass shootings in Orlando nightclub and Sandy Hook School in Connecticut.

Many rifles were obtained from the sight of the Las Vegas shooting, Police informed.

Some US states have prohibited assault-style arms, which were completely controlled for a decade until 2004.

US public outlook over the ban of handguns has distorted radically over the last 60 years. Support over the banning guns had increased over the time.  Most of the Americans are not satisfied with American gun laws and policies while some others demand strict legislation.

Many have demanded the control of gun purchase for people who are mentally sick or those who have been under watch list.

In his most recent statement on the shootings, President Donald Trump said he would be talking about gun laws as times goes by. The US people said there is no time to debate over gun laws.

The Past Democrat President Barack Obama struggled to make constitutional laws against guns due to Republican protest. Organizations like National Rifle Association is promoting guns arguing that more guns would make the country safer which is just ridiculous. This organization is a powerful political lobbyist with huge budgets to influence the members of Congress on Gun Policies.

 One of every five gun owner is a member of NRA which spends around $3 million every year to manipulate the gun Policy. NRA also lobbies for those lawmakers which support gun policies in the Congress.
