Jaya Prada remembers the role of Ranveer Singh while watching Padmaavat as it recalled her of Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan. While Talking, Jaya also whispered that she was “harassed” by Khan throughout one of the elections in which she was challenging.
“On watching Padmaavat, Khilji’s role by Ranveer Singh reminded me of Azam Khan Ji, how he had stressed me throughout elections when I was contesting,” the previous MP from Rampur constituency in Uttar Pradesh speaks.
Jaya Prada has blamed the SP leader of superciliousness and foul play on preceding circumstances as well. In 2009, Jaya had accused Khan of scattering her ‘cheap’ posters to tarnish her figure. The acidic opposition between the two UP leaders surfaced in 2012 as well, with Jaya vowing to wipe out Khan’s “arrogance”.
