As per the reports, Sidhu Humanabade wasted no time and quickly rushed inside the hospital. By using the fire brigades ladder which was set up to climb five stories and jump inside the hospital through outbreaking a glass, he single-handedly managed to save up to 10 people. Keeping in mind the possible risks at the scene, Sidhu Humanabade did it with great bravery.
"Unfortunately, two patients fell down even as I helped them on to the ladder. I kept a ladder on the third-floor window ledge for an elderly woman to climb down, but the ledge collapsed as soon as she got on to the ladder. I could do nothing as she plunged down."
"We have to help others in distress, there is no question of being frightened to help out."
After successfully accomplishing the rescue operation, just after three hours he started feeling some sort of discomfort in breathing and felt a little chest pain. He was immediately admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
