Gadar 2: The Katha Continues is the latest Hindi film that has been surrounded by controversy. Its first part namely ‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ was released in 2001. The makers are going to release its second part namely Gadar 2: The Katha Continues on 11th August 2023 in India. But, the second part of Gadar has been surrounded by many controversies.

Recently, in a leaked video, Gadar 2 sparked controversy due to the shoot of the romantic scene in Gurudwara, which is a religious place. In a leaked video, lead actor Sunny Deol and actress Ameesha Patel were spotted walking hand-in-hand in a religious place which did not go down well with authorities and others.

After shooting the romantic scene in a religious place, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) called the filmmakers on social media. Furthermore, Gurcharan Singh Grewal, the General Secretary of the GPC, slammed actor Sunny Deol for the romantic scene and expressed his displeasure.

He added, "I also want to make completely clear that the leaked video was taken on a private mobile and represents the controversy-based scene from the film.
