Maruti Suzuki Recalled Around 52000 Units of New Baleno & Swift

Maruti Suzuki has declared a recollect for the new Baleno and also the Swift in India. The company has stated that a total number of 52,686 units affected. Maruti Suzuki India stated that it will commence a service campaign for new Baleno and Swift models to examine for a possible mistake in the brake vacuum tube.

The new Baleno and Swift vehicles that built between 1st Dec. 2017 and 16th March 2018 are the affected once and will be sheltered under the campaign. Starting 14th May 2018, the owners of the vehicles that will be beneficial in this service operation will be contacted by the dealers for replacement and inspection of the defective part.

Service Operations will be organized globally by the automobile companies to resolve faults that may potentially create inconvenience to the customers. The replacement and inspection will be done without any charge for the user.

This is not the first time that the vehicle Baleno has been recalled. It was in the month May of 2016, that the Maruti Suzuki recalled 75,419 units of the car Baleno for the issues with the airbags. Out of these 75,419 units, 15,995 cars are variants of diesel that were built between 3rd Aug. 2015 and 22nd March 2016 and will also be present for replacement and inspection of the defective fuel filter.
