Directed by Ashok Gaekwad, ‘Hasti’ is a 1993 Hindi Film starring Naseeruddin Shah, Varsha Usgaonkar, Jackie Shroff, and Nagma. The film reveals the story around Jaggu (Jackie Shroff), who is belittled by Narang (Sadashiv Amrapurkar) due to poverty when he asks for his daughter Neena's hand in marriage.

On Sunday of the Episode of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show' invited many celebrities to his show where Sangeeta Bijlani, Varsha Usgaonkar, and Mandakini enjoyed and shared their glorious memories. During the conversion, Kapil asked Actress Varsha Usgaonkar about her experience of working with Naseeruddin Shah in the 1993 Film ‘Hasti’. Recollecting the old days, Varsha told Kapil Sharma, “All the art films flooded back into my memory”.

She also said to him, Naseeruddin is a great actor and spend his experience with me while shooting the Film ‘Hast’ in Ooty. Keeping her conversion continues, she said to Kapil Sharma, “I Taught Naseeruddin ji A Little Bit of Dance at That Time”. She also added, “Working with Naseeruddin Ji was a great experience in the film ‘Hasti’ and I seemed better that I was working with acclaimed actor Naseeruddin Shah.
