All-time favorite characters of Indian Comic Books

Do you remember the famous cartoon book characters that you used to study in your childhood? Remembering Pinki, Chacha Chaudhary and Sabu brings the smile to our faces. These characters take us down the memory line of our childhood. Those were the days of buying comic books from railway station before boarding train, exchanging them with friends and waiting for new comic books to come on the market. Though in India there is the huge fan base of foreign comic books but certain Indian comic books that have the huge fan following. Some of these characters are :
Chacha Chaudhary:

Remember the famous line "Chacha Chaudhary ka dimag to computer use bhi tej chalta hai" Chacha Chaudhary is the most intelligent character in Indian comic books. Chachaji with his friend Sabu who is an alien from Jupiter has solved various cases of thefts and mysteries.

Nagraj:

All those who have read Nagraj comics will agree that we Indians are reading mutant stories for so long. The character was launched by Raj Comics in the 1980s. Nagraj is a superhero who derives his power from the number of snakes who live inside his body.

Super Commando Dhruva:

This superhero character was launched by Raj comics in 1987. He is acrobatic who can communicate with animals as well as birds. He is a very intelligent man who with his scientific knowledge as well as acrobatic and martial arts training fights crime.

Doga:

Doga is superhero character of Raj Comics. The first comic of Doga came in 1992. More than 175 comic books of Doga have been written to date. Doga is another positive character who hates corruption and believes in solving the root cause of any problem. In this comic, the hero hides his identity behind the mask of a dog.

Akbar Birbal:

Akbar and Birbal are characters of our history.   All the stories of Akbar and Birbal teach moral values to the kids. Most of the stories are based on popular folktales.

Tenali Raman:

Tenali Raman was an advisor in the court of King Krishnadeva Raya. Numbers of comic books have been published in various languages by various publishing houses. 

Pinki:

A character of Pinki was introduced to readers in the year 1978. She is one of the oldest cartoon characters of Diamond comics. She is a five-year-old girl who makes us smile with her mischiefs.
