The aficionado darling challenger of season 13 — known for her exceptional resonance and style — was crowned the champion of The Voice on Tuesday.

Kochanski's triumph marks the sixth victory for expert coach and PEOPLE’s Sexiest Man Alive Blake Shelton — building him the top adviser with a record-breaking digit of wins.

The sparkling twilight featured performances by Bastille, Vince Gill, Jessie J, Norah Jones, Bebe Rexha, Sia and last year’s Voice winner Chris Blue. Kohanski was matching up with one of her idols, Billy Idol, to execute “White Wedding,” and it couldn’t have been a superior match.

Kohanski has finished a name for herself on the demonstrate by belting out classic ’80s and ’90s rock songs week after week.
