Nobody in this world feels proud to share their body with someone whom they have never seen before. It is the circumstances which force a woman to do that. Life has been harsh to the ladies who were little girls when brought to a brothel in Red Light Area. Many Indian films have shown us a bit about their life and the one that touched the reality was Chameli. It just touched but couldn't reflect the true feeling of a lady being sold when the seller is his own father.

The most sensitive topic to talk about is prostitution. This word "prostitute" is as bad as a word like "witch". But they are not always the synonyms. They are not paid that much even being charged a lot by their brokers in the name of rent and fees to get them a client. Imagine a girl who is just 11years old and is locked up with a man in a room and he is harassing her as he has paid her price. What that girl would feel about being into this system, she would be shaken and she would feel that she is the unluckiest person on this planet. But that is not it, she is the one suffering but yet not getting any money rather she is not getting food to eat. Terrible it is and they are suffering it daily, the number is increasing day by day.  

They say their husband left them with a kid to look after, they faced domestic violence at places where they worked as labor, they say their husband does not get work but he tries daily to get one and what not. But they also admit that this is not what they want for their kids and they regret being here. They pity their situation and have a feeling of disgust. That is not enough they also say that if the take rebirth may God never show this place to them being there is like hell.

Daily people visit them and exploit them, this is the way they earn and other party takes pleasure. No awareness about AID or HIV or STD and avoiding condom is a treat for their client. May this world would be kinder to them and they get free from this lifelong prison
