I am sure most of us will immediately remember these controversial lines, and who said them. Well you guessed it right the sizzling the vivacious the scandalous PoonamPandey. After 7 years of start of her carrier and about 5yearsafter the statement delivered by her of her stripping we decided to look into the flashback.

Poonam, began her carrier as a model, she was one of the top 10 finalist for Gladrags Manhunt contest. Poonam also topped the charts of Megamodel contest in 2010. Same year she did calendar shoots for top brands like kingfisher and Gladrags. Poonam was on cover of all leading magazine.

Poonam was widely known from her twitter post, where she posted raunchy pictures of herself. However the spot light found her when she proposed to strip for Indian cricket team, if they win the world cup. Call it motivation or luck we did win the world cup. Now was the time when the focus of the media spotlight increased on her. Everyone was wondering about the stripping clams made by the bold and the beautifull model. However to the disappointment of fans (guys in particular) this never happened. Yes Miss PoonamPandey did not fulfill her promise and blamed it all on BCCI for not giving her permission.

However fans were not left completely disappointed as she did strip for Kolkata Knight Riders when they won the IPL-5.

Poonam’s film and television life is as short as the outfits she wears in public, almost nothing to talk about…lol. She has done some roles here and there but nothing significant. Her debut movie was called Nasha which released in 2013; the model turned actress got mixed reviews for her performance. What she did not get were more roles in films. She did Uvaa in 2015 and Manali and co in Telugu same year.

poonam also launched her app on Google; however within few hours of the launch the play store removed the app. That’s our Poonam for you, you can love her you can hate her but you cannot ignore her.
