The director P Bharatraja had launched the Sreevallie alias Ranjitha in the Movie Nadodi Thendral in Tamil., who launched her in the Tamil film industry with the 1992 film Nadodi Thendral.

 She had also played roles in Malayalam Telugu movies against top actors. Ranjitha also won the Nandi Prize for excellent performance in south Indian movies by Andhra Pradesh government,

RANJITHA'S MARRIAGE. Ranjitha had worked In various movies in south till her marriage to Rajesh Menon a major in Indian Army. They had known  each other since college times and their marriage ended in 2007. After this, she distanced from movies and returned back to cinema industry but then she was offered supporting roles only.

The actress was back in the spotlight when her video with Godman was telecasted publicly by Sun TV.

In 2013, she went to the ashram, of Godman Nityanand and lead a life of Sanyasin and was renamed as Maa Anandmayi in the Godman’s ashram and adopted the name as Maa Anandmayi. Ranjitha is last spotted in Raavanan by Maniratnam(2010).
