SAFETY DIED A SILENT DEATH CANCER FREE CIGARETTES WERE INVENTED BUT NEVER CAME TO THE MARKET

Project XA was the name for this product which was invented by Dr. James D Mold who was associated with company Ligget & Myers which itself made cigarettes that caused cancer. After working for 25years and spending 10million dollars on this project, they just buried the invention into the sand because they wanted to be safe in the market with the reputation, that their product didn't cause cancer but it does as the whole world knows that and yes to be safe from litigations by other competitors. They were searching to make it and when they achieved it, their hands were stuck due to legal advice by their lawyers. 

Safety died a silent death with their coward attitude if they would have come up with that project you could have smoked with the cancer-free tobacco but the company was more concern about itself then about its customers and this was a legal advice given by the lawyers of that company in late 1970's. If the story would have been other way round and they would have come up with that safe alternative then the things would have been different all over the world, no rehabs would have been required and people who genuinely want to quit would have gone for this option and would have left smoking at their own. 

 The next time you pick up those cigarettes please give a thought that you are providing them revenue and they aren't even bothered about your health, they can come up with the safe alternative but they aren't coming up. That’s as sheer shame and people who smoke should definitely quit smoking. Only then these types of companies will learn the lesson as there would be no revenue. But I know this is a hypothetic statement I have written and nobody will do that as they have an addiction to that stuff and this is sad, very sad. (STILL, QUIT SMOKING)
