The movie release was due in December 2017, however, due to some controversies the release date is postponed to January 5, 2018.in this movie, Deepika has played the title role of Rani Padmavati of Chittoor. This is Deepika's third movie with Sanjay Leela Bhansali as well as her costar and boyfriend Ranveer Singh.

Sapna Didi

Movie Sapna Didi is based on the novel ‘Mafia Queens of Mumbai' by S Hussain Zaidi. It is true of Rahima Khan who was a mafia queen. Deepika will be seen as the gangster in this movie. Irfan Khan is paired with Deepika in this movie.
