Mahatma Gandhi aka Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi was born on 2nd October 1869 in Gujarat. He was a lawyer by profession. He worked for Rights of the Black community suffering Apartheid in South Africa with his technique of Non-violence and Satyagraha. He was generally called as Bapu by his followers. Then He returned back to India and fought against British for betterment and freedom of People of India. In India too he preached people about Satya and Ahimsa to oust the British from India. Now He is known as the father of India, and His birthdate is celebrated as Non-violence day by United Nations. His struggle for Independence uniting India in one thread inspired millions of people all around the world.
He was called Saint by of Sabarmati but was shot dead on 30th January 1948 by Nathuram Godse.
Swami Vivekananda was one of the greatest social reformers of India, his real name was Narendra Nath Datta. He was a great scholar, who was an Inspiration for Millions of People. Even today he is a source of Inspiration for Millions of Hindus as well as Many Nationalists of India. His birthday is identified as National Youth Day in India. He apart from Hinduism respected other religions of the world. His speech in Chicago during the world religion meet in 1893 was a memorable one, not only in India but worldwide.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Jhaverbhai Patel was born on 31st of Oct, 1875. He was an ardent follower of Mahatma Gandhi. He was also Known the Iron Man of India who was the first Home Minister of India. He had United various provinces of India after Separation with Pakistan. The Current shape of India is due to the efforts of Sardar Patel. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar who was born on 14th April of 1891. Professionally He was a lawyer a teacher and a leader too. He was the chairman of the Drafting Committee of Indian Constitution, along with first Law Minister of India too. B.R Ambedkar was born in untouchable family and belonged to Dalit community. He is regarded as the only leader of Dalits in modern India.
5.LAL BAHADUR SASTRI
Lal Bahadur Shastri was born on 2nd October 1904. A Gandhian socialist and second Prime Minister of India. He was known for simplicity leadership in 1965 war with 1965 war against Pakistan. He gave the slogan Jai Jawan Jai Kisaan.

6.SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE
Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose was born on 23rd Jan 1897. He organized Azad Hind Fauj in Japan. He gave some of the famous slogans like Jai Hind, and Tum Mujhe Khoon do Main Tumhe Azadii Dunga( Give me blood, I’ll give you Freedom) he is one of the famous freedom fighters of India. Earlier he was a member of Congress party and he headed the Congress party for some years, later after some years, he quit the party. He is still the most inspiring for millions of youth in India. The most controversial incident of his life was his death.
JP or JaiPrakash Narayan was born on 11 October 1902, He was also known as Loknayak, was a great freedom Fighter. He actively participated in Sarvodaya Andolan with Vinoba Bhave. He was better identified for his struggle in Emergency imposed by Indira Gandhi, He was honored by Bharat Ratna( The Highest Civilian award in India).
8.DEEN DAYAL UPADHYAY
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was a great leader who was born on 25th of September 1916 who was an Indian philosopher, economist, sociologist, historian, journalist, political activist and founder member of Bharat Jana Sangh which we call today Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP. He was an ideal and a guiding force for the evolving model of governance and Politics. He was mysteriously killed in Mughal Sarai railway station(Varanasi) while on board.
Indira Gandhi was born on 19th of November, 1917. She was daughter of India’s First Prime Minister and the also was the third Prime Minister of India. The first and the Only Woman Prime Minister of India till now. She served as PShe served as the Prime Minister of India, consecutively and was also elected for the fourth time after a gap. She is known as the Iron Lady of India. Her decision making was quite swift like 1971 Indo-Pak war that formed a New country Bangladesh. Lastly she was shot by her bodyguards in 1984.
